Job summary

Savant of Woodland Hills is seeking a Medical Technician to join our dedicated team in Woodland Hills. You will provide direct resident care and assist with medications, while maintaining meticulous care records and following physicians' orders and state regulations.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be fluent in English, and hold First Aid certification with CPR/CNA credentials as required by state law.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid First Aid certifications and, per state requirements, CPR and CNA certifications may be required.
  • Commitment to continuing education and license maintenance.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English fluently.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents in accordance with policy and physician orders.
  • Maintain accurate care records for residents.
  • Follow medication policies and procedures and state regulations.

What You Will Do
  • Responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations
  • Keep accurate care records
  • Follow outlined procedure, physicians' orders, and state laws when assisting or supervising residents with medications. Exhibit an understanding of and be willing to follow medication policy and procedures.
  • This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
  • Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations may need to possess current CPR, Certified Nursing Assistant Certification state certifications, and pass an examination and/or skills evaluation. Also, must meet requirements for continuing education and maintain all license(s).
  • Speak read and understand English fluently.
Must Haves
