Job summary

Savant of Woodland Hills is seeking a Medical Technician to join our caring team in Woodland Hills, CA. You will provide direct care and medication assistance to our senior residents, following physician orders and state regulations to ensure safe, compliant care.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, First Aid (and CPR/CNA where required), and proficiency in English. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must possess First Aid certification; CPR, CNA certifications may be required.
• English fluency (read/write/speak) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents.
• Follow physicians' orders and state laws when assisting or supervising residents with medications.
• Meet continuing education requirements and maintain licenses as required by state laws.
• Communicate effectively in English with residents and team.

What you will do:

• Responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations
• Follow outlined procedure, physicians' orders, and state laws when assisting or supervising residents with medications. Exhibit an understanding of and be willing to follow medication policy and procedures.
• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations may need to possess current CPR, Certified Nursing Assistant Certification state certifications, and pass an examination and/or skills evaluation. Also, must meet requirements for continuing education and maintain all license(s).
• Speak read and understand English fluently.

Must haves:

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations may need to possess current CPR, Certified Nursing Assistant Certification state certifications, and pass an examination and/or skills evaluation. Also, must meet requirements for continuing education and maintain all license(s).

• Prolonged periods walking or standing.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to bend, stoop and push constantly.

Pay rate $21.00 -$23.50 per hour DOE
