Job summary

Savant of West Hollywood is seeking a Medical Technician to join our caregiving team on the night shift. You will provide direct care and medication assistance to residents, following physicians' orders and California state regulations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, current First Aid, CPR or CNA certifications, and the ability to read and communicate in English. Prolonged standing and lifting up to 25 pounds are part of the job.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • First Aid certification and CPR or CNA certifications may be required.
  • English fluency required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care and medication assistance as per policy.
  • Follow physician orders and state laws for medications.
  • Participate in continuing education and maintain licenses.
  • Assist residents to promote safety and well-being.

What you will do:
  • Responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations
  • Follow outlined procedure, physicians' orders, and state laws when assisting or supervising residents with medications. Exhibit an understanding of and be willing to follow medication policy and procedures.
  • This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
  • Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations may need to possess current CPR, Certified Nursing Assistant Certification state certifications, and pass an examination and/or skills evaluation. Also, must meet requirements for continuing education and maintain all license(s).
  • Speak read and understand English fluently.
Must haves:
  • This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.

Pay rate $22.00 -$24.50 per hour DOE
