Savant Senior Living in Culver City, CA, is seeking staff to provide direct care and medication assistance to residents, while maintaining accurate care records and complying with physicians' orders and state laws. The role requires fluency in English and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience in a similar facility is preferred; First Aid, CPR/CNA certifications may be required. Lifting up to 25 pounds and prolonged walking/standing are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• First Aid certification required; CPR and CNA certifications may be required by state regulations.
• Must speak, read, and understand English fluently.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations
• Keep accurate care records
• Follow outlined procedure, physicians' orders, and state laws when assisting or supervising residents with medications. Exhibit an understanding of and be willing to follow medication policy and procedures.
• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations may need to possess current CPR, Certified Nursing Assistant Certification state certifications, and pass an examination and/or skills evaluation. Also, must meet requirements for continuing education and maintain all license(s).
