Job summary

Savant Senior Living in Garden Grove, CA is seeking a dedicated caregiver to provide direct care and medication assistance to our residents, ensuring safety, dignity, and a high quality of life. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, First Aid certifications, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

State regulations and physician orders guide care; fluency in English is essential. Experience in assisted living is a plus, and we offer Vision Plan, Health Insurance, and a 401(k)

What you will do:

• Responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations
• Follow outlined procedure, physicians' orders, and state laws when assisting or supervising residents with medications. Exhibit an understanding of and be willing to follow medication policy and procedures.
• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations may need to possess current CPR, Certified Nursing Assistant Certification state certifications, and pass an examination and/or skills evaluation. Also, must meet requirements for continuing education and maintain all license(s).
• Speak read and understand English fluently.

Must haves

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.

• Prolonged periods walking or standing.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to bend, stoop and push constantly.
