Job summary

Savant Senior Living in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide direct care and medication assistance to residents, ensuring safety and dignity in daily activities.

You will follow doctors' orders, state regulations, and facility procedures, and must have a high school diploma, First Aid, CPR/CNA as required, and fluent English. This is a full-time role with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and a competent history in a similar facility.
• Current First Aid certification; CPR and CNA certifications may be required by state regulations.
• Ability to meet continuing education requirements and maintain licensure.
• Speak, read and understand English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents.
• Follow physicians' orders, procedures, and state laws for medications.
• Demonstrate willingness to follow medication policies and procedures.
• Ensure care standards and resident safety are maintained.

What you will do:

• Responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations
• Follow outlined procedure, physicians' orders, and state laws when assisting or supervising residents with medications. Exhibit an understanding of and be willing to follow medication policy and procedures.
• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations may need to possess current CPR, Certified Nursing Assistant Certification state certifications, and pass an examination and/or skills evaluation. Also, must meet requirements for continuing education and maintain all license(s).
• Speak read and understand English fluently.

Physical Requirements

Pay rate $20.00- 22.50 per hour DOE
