Job summary

Savant Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide compassionate direct care and medication assistance to residents at Savant Studio Royale in Culver City. You will support daily living activities, assist with grooming, hygiene, and mobility, and help with transfers as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/First Aid certifications, and fluent English. Prior assisted living experience is a plus. Competitive benefits and hourly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification is preferred/minimum.
• First Aid certification is required by state regulations.
• Fluent English (speaking, reading, and understanding).
• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and assist with transfers.
• Prolonged standing is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living (grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair care, transfers).
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.

What You Will Do

• Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver is responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations.
• Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.

Must Haves

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• May need to possess current CPR
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations
• Speak read and understand English fluently.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.
