Wolfeboro Bay Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing is seeking a Medication Nurse Assistant (MNA) to support licensed nursing staff in safe medication administration and resident care. You will administer medications, monitor residents for changes, document accurately, and follow medication-management procedures.

The role requires a Nursing Assistant and a Medication Aide certification, CPR, and healthcare experience. Per-diem shifts offer flexible scheduling; non-exempt status applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current nursing-assistant certification.
• Current Medication Aide certification.
• CPR certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology.
• Minimum one year of healthcare experience or two years of medication-aide experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications under physician orders and facility procedures.
• Observe residents for changes or adverse reactions.
• Document medication administration accurately.
• Follow written and verbal medication-management instructions.
• Obtain vital signs and complete related tasks.
• Maintain safe medication storage and stock carts.
• Communicate resident concerns to licensed staff.
• Assist with resident-care duties as assigned.

Available Shifts:

Per-diem team members have the flexibility to pick up shifts as needed

Compensation:

$23 - $29 based on experience + applicable shift differentials

About the Role

As an MNA, you'll work alongside our licensed nursing team to support safe medication administration and quality resident care.

You’ll administer permitted medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, accurately document medication administration, observe residents for changes or reactions, and communicate concerns promptly.

What You’ll Do

• Administer permitted medications in accordance with physician orders, applicable requirements, and facility procedures.

• Observe residents for changes in condition or adverse reactions.

• Accurately document medication administration.

• Follow written and verbal medication-management instructions.

• Obtain vital signs and complete permitted medication-related tasks.

• Maintain safe and secure medication storage.

• Stock medication carts and appropriately handle discontinued medications.

• Communicate resident concerns promptly to licensed nursing staff.

• Assist with resident-care duties as assigned and within your role.
