Job summary

Mineral Springs, part of 603 Healthcare, NH, is hiring a Medication Aide (MNA) to support safe medication administration and quality resident care. You will work with licensed nurses to administer medications under supervision and document accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Available shifts include Full-time 7AM-3PM (every other weekend) and Part-time 3PM-11PM. Compensation ranges from $22 to $28 per hour based on experience with shift differentials; sign-on bonuses apply: $3,500 for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current nursing assistant certification.
• Current Medication Aide certification.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum one year of healthcare experience or two years of medication-aide experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology.

Responsibilities

• Administer permitted medications under supervision of licensed staff.
• Observe residents for changes or adverse reactions.
• Accurately document medication administration.
• Follow written and verbal medication management instructions.
• Obtain vital signs and complete permitted medication-related tasks.
• Maintain safe and secure medication storage.
• Stock medication carts and handle discontinued medications.
• Communicate resident concerns promptly to licensed nursing staff.
• Assist with resident-care duties as assigned.

About the Role

As an MNA, you'll work alongside our licensed nursing team to support safe medication administration and quality resident care.

You'll administer permitted medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, accurately document medication administration, observe residents for changes or reactions, and communicate concerns promptly.

What You'll Do

• Administer permitted medications in accordance with physician orders, applicable requirements, and facility procedures.

• Observe residents for changes in condition or adverse reactions.

• Accurately document medication administration.

• Follow written and verbal medication management instructions.

• Obtain vital signs and complete permitted medication-related tasks.

• Maintain safe and secure medication storage.

• Stock medication carts and appropriately handle discontinued medications.

• Communicate resident concerns promptly to licensed nursing staff.

• Assist with resident-care duties as assigned and within your role.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Current nursing assistant certification.
