Advocate Aurora Health's 38523 Enterprise Pharmacy - Transitions of Care Services Acute Care is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for 2nd shift to support area-specific workflows, documentation, and care-team coordination. You will apply specialized knowledge to ensure accurate processing and timely communication with patients and teams.

Requirements include a high school diploma (associates in pharmacy tech preferred for NC duties), state licensure/registration, and about 3 years in health care or

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Pharmacy Technology preferred for NC responsibilities.
• Experience in healthcare or pharmacy settings beneficial.
• CPhT or ExCPT certification desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Completes area-specific work per standard processes and policies.
• Acts as an expert with equipment and technology in the area.
• Troubleshoots technical issues as they arise.
• Maintains accurate, timely documentation and records.
• Supports communication with patients and the care team.
• Identifies quality improvements for safe, effective patient care.
• Contributes to operational changes and standardization.
• Participates in site/system work teams and councils as applicable.
• Ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
• Keeps knowledge up-to-date and shares training with others.
• Supports education of teammates and contributes to department initiatives.
• Takes tasks from other pharmacy teammates when workload dictates.
