Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Pharmacy Technician for the Transitions of Care Services Acute Care team in Illinois. The role is full-time, 40 hours weekly, 2nd shift 1:00 PM–9:30 PM with every other weekend. Pay range is $24.10–$36.15 per hour, plus benefits.

You will perform area-specific tasks, handle equipment, ensure accurate documentation, support patient and care-team communication, and identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency in the pharmacy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Pharmacy Technology for NC technicians with validating responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Completes area-specific work per standard processes and policies.
• Serves as expert with equipment and technology in the specialized area.
• Troubleshoots technical issues in the specialized area.
• Ensures documents and records are accurate and completed timely.
• Supports communication with patients and care team.
• Identifies quality improvement opportunities to ensure safe, effective, and efficient services.
