Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health’s Enterprise Pharmacy is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to complete medication histories and support the care team across shifts. This role emphasizes accurate documentation and patient safety.

A HS diploma or GED is required, with CPhT or ExCPT certification preferred. Experience in healthcare/pharmacy is typical; shifts include 6:30 AM–3:00 PM and 1:00 PM–9:30 PM with scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree in Pharmacy Technology preferred for NC duties.
• Typically requires 3 years of experience in health care, insurance, pharmacy, or medical background.

Responsibilities

• Completes area-specific work per standard processes and policies.
• Serves as an expert with equipment and technology in the area.
• Solves technical issues in the specialized area as they arise.
• Ensures documents and records are accurate and completed timely.
• Supports communication with patients and care team.
• Identifies quality improvement opportunities to ensure safe, effective patient care.
• Contributes to implementation of operational changes and standardization.
