Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications and treatments safely and with dignity. You will administer meds, document accurately, and monitor residents to respond to needs and ensure quality of life.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and Medication Administration certification, with CPR/First Aid certifications recommended. The role emphasizes documentation, communication, and compassion in a senior-care setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certification in Medication Administration required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.
• Senior care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
