Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide / Med Tech to administer medications per physician orders and document in MAR/TAR in real time. You will monitor residents during and after passes, report concerns promptly, and maintain clean medication areas in compliance with infection control standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 18+ preferred.
• Medication Administration certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills preferred.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer meds as ordered for relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
