Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide / Med Tech to administer medications and treatments with accuracy and dignity, following physician orders and MAR/TAR documentation in real time. You will monitor residents during and after passes, report concerns promptly, maintain organized med carts, and follow infection control standards to ensure resident safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED, medication administration certification, CPR and First

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medication Administration certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills; senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
