Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications safely, document accurately, and monitor residents’ responses. You will follow the Six Rights and maintain clean medication areas in a compassionate, resident-centric environment.

Ideal candidates have a Medication Administration certification, CPR/First Aid, a High School Diploma or GED, and strong communication skills. Senior care experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth and benefits depending

Qualifications

• Medication Administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
