Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide / Med Tech to join our on-site team. You will administer medications, follow physician orders, and ensure accuracy and dignity in resident care, aligned with Six Rights of Medication Administration.

We value precise documentation, timely communication with care staff, and commitment to safety. Qualifications include a high school diploma and medication administration certification; CPR/First Aid are also preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+.
• Medication Administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
