Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living is seeking a compassionate caregiver/CNA to join our elderly care team in a residential setting. You will administer medications, maintain medication storage, and support residents with daily living activities while upholding residents' rights and care standards.

Responsibilities include documenting care and medication administration, assisting during meals, and coordinating with licensed nurses to ensure timely care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Caregiver or CNA in a residential or long-term care setting (experience may depend on state requirements)
• Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members
• Medication Aide training (and certification in states where required)

Responsibilities

• Provides medication assistance for residents in accordance with state regulations and company policy including pouring, preparing, assisting with administration, and documentation
• Assists in maintaining the medication cart and storage room in a neat and orderly manner
• May be called upon to assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care
• Engages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care and medication assistance
• Observes residents for changes in condition and reports promptly to a licensed nurse
• Completes documentation such as medication administration records and incident reports
• Assists in dining room during meals and supports residents in activities and outings
