Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living in Florida is hiring for a dedicated caregiver/CNA to join our full-time team. You will provide compassionate resident care, assist with medications under state guidelines, and support daily living activities in a residential setting.

The role requires English communication, a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of Medication Aide training where required. We offer a supportive team environment and growth opportunities within a Great Place to Work culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Caregiver or CNA for the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting (state requirements may apply).
• Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Must complete Medication Aide training and be certified where required.

Responsibilities

• Provides medication assistance for residents per state regulations and policy, including pouring, preparing, assisting with administration, and documentation.
• Maintains the medication cart and storage room in a neat and orderly manner.
• Ensures accurate medication counts and security of the medication cart and storage room for assigned shifts.
• May assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility).
• Engages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care and medication assistance.
• Responds promptly to resident needs and coordinates with a licensed nurse as needed.
• Upholds Residents’ Rights and company policies and care philosophy.
• Completes documentation such as MARs, incident reports, change of condition reports, and behavior tracking timely.
• Assists in dining room during meals and encourages participation in activities and outings.
• May assist with housekeeping tasks as part of caregiver responsibilities.
