Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Caregiver/CNA for a full-time role delivering medication assistance and daily living support to our residents. You will work in a resident-centered setting, maintaining care quality and compassionate engagement.

Qualifications include at least 1 year as a Caregiver or CNA, ability to read/write/speak English, and HS diploma preferred. Our benefits package includes a 401(k) match, wage access, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Caregiver or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members.
• Must complete Medication Aide training (and certification where required).

Responsibilities

• Provides medication assistance for residents in accordance with state regulations and company policy, including pouring, preparing, assisting with administration, and documentation.
• Maintains the medication cart and storage room in a neat and orderly manner.
• Responsible for accurate medication counts and security of the medication cart and storage room during assigned shifts.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility) as needed.
• Engages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activities while providing personal care and medication assistance.
• Responds promptly to all resident needs and requests for care and coordinates with licensed nursing staff as necessary.
• Upholds Residents’ Rights at all times and supports company policies and care philosophy.
• Completes documentation such as medication administration records, incident reports, change of condition reports, and behavior tracking in a timely manner.
• Assists in dining room during resident meal times and encourages participation in activities and outings.
• May assist with caregiver housekeeping responsibilities.
