Sinceri Senior Living in Virginia is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide/CNA to support residents with daily care, medication assistance, and personal attention. You will contribute to a respectful, safe environment by following state regulations and company policy.

In this full-time 2nd shift role, you’ll maintain accurate medication records, assist with activities of daily living, and collaborate closely with licensed nurses to ensure timely care and resident comfort.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Minimum of 1 year of caregiver or CNA experience in a residential or long-term care setting.
• Must be able to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must complete Medication Aide training (and certification in states where required).

Responsabilités

• Provides medication assistance for residents in accordance with state regulations and company policy, including pouring, preparing, and documenting.
• Maintains the medication cart and storage room in a neat and orderly manner.
• Takes responsibility for accurate medication counts and security of the medication cart and storage room for assigned shifts.
• Assists with activities of daily living as needed (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility).
• Engages residents in meaningful conversation and activities while providing personal care and medication assistance.
• Responds promptly to resident needs and coordinates care with licensed nurses as required.
• Upholds residents’ rights and supports company policies and care philosophy.
• Documents medication administration records, incident reports, change of condition reports, and behavior tracking timely.
• Assists in the dining room during meals and encourages participation in scheduled activities.
• May assist with caregiver housekeeping responsibilities.
