Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Patient Relations Analyst to educate patients about Medicare programs, resources, and affordable insurance options to improve access and retention. You will be the insurance expert at the clinic, guiding patients through coverage decisions and billing concerns.

As a PRA, you’ll also support providers and staff with insurance questions, help patients navigate the healthcare system, and contribute to a positive patient experience across open enrollment periods.

Qualifications

• Experience explaining Medicare options and insurance coverage to patients.
• Strong computer literacy across common office tools and databases.
• Ability to navigate healthcare systems and assist with billing questions.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with navigating Medicare and insurance issues including eligibility and plan benefits.
• Serve as an internal resource for providers and staff on insurance questions.
• Support patient onboarding, orientation, and enrollment processes.
• Educate patients on applying for public benefits and prescription assistance.
