Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Patient Relations Analyst to educate patients about Medicare programs, resources, and affordable coverage options, increasing access to care and retention. You will act as the clinic's insurance expert, guiding patients through options and assisting with bills.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Gmail, MS Word/Google Docs, Excel or similar
• Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Experience navigating Medicare and health insurance options is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with navigating Medicare and insurance issues including coverage, benefits, and eligibility
• Serve as in-clinic resource on insurance questions for providers and staff
• Help patients resolve medical bills and navigate the healthcare system as an advocate
• Educate patients on public benefits and prescription assistance programs
• Support clinic management with scheduling and billing tasks
• Provide exceptional customer service and foster patient engagement through events and center tours
• Other duties as assigned
