Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Patient Relations Analyst to educate patients about Medicare programs, resources, and affordable insurance coverage to increase access to care and improve retention. The PRA serves as the clinic's insurance expert, helping patients navigate Medicare options and bills, and supporting the care and outreach teams, especially during Open Enrollment.

The role reports to the Associate Patient Relations Manager or Practice Manager and participates in patient engagement

Qualifications

• US work authorization required.
• Experience navigating Medicare/insurance benefits.
• Strong computer literacy across common programs (Gmail, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with navigating Medicare and insurance issues.
• Serve as the clinic's insurance resource for providers and staff.
• Advocate for patients regarding medical bills and coverage options.
• Support operations, scheduling and billing as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and help engage patients.
