Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to navigate multiple computer programs (Gmail, MS Word/Google Docs, Excel, etc.).
• US work authorization required to work in the United States.
• Demonstrates ownership of patient-centered service with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with navigating Medicare and insurance issues, including coverage, benefits, summaries, eligibility and maximizing plan benefits.
• Serve as an internal resource in the clinic on insurance questions for providers and staff.
• Help patients navigate the healthcare system and resolve medical bills, acting as an advocate for the patient.
