Job summary

Oak Street Health seeks a Patient Relations Analyst to educate patients about Medicare programs and coverage options, improving access to care. You will advocate for patients in navigating insurance questions, bills and benefits while supporting the care and outreach teams.

You will work with clinic staff to explain eligibility, enroll patients in public benefits where appropriate, and help manage welcome visits and patient orientation. Strong communication helps drive engagement.

Qualifications

• Proficient with common office software and tools including email, word processing and spreadsheets.
• Ability to navigate multiple programs quickly and accurately.
• Experience with insurance or healthcare navigation is a plus.
• US work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients about Medicare programs, resources and affordable coverage options.
• Advise patients on navigating insurance issues, coverage and bills.
• Serve as clinic resource on insurance questions for providers and staff.
• Support patient access and retention by explaining benefits and assisting with enrollment.
