Job summary

Oak Street Health seeks a Patient Relations Analyst to educate patients about Medicare programs, resources, and affordable insurance options to increase access to care and retention.

The PRA acts as the clinic's insurance expert, guiding patients through enrollment, answering billing questions, and supporting the care and outreach teams in navigating complex coverage scenarios while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• US work authorization required.
• Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients about Medicare programs, resources, and affordable insurance coverage options.
• Assist patients in navigating Medicare and insurance issues including coverage, benefits, summaries, eligibility.
• Serve as an internal resource in the clinic on insurance questions for providers and staff.
• Assist patients in navigating the healthcare system and resolving medical bills while advocating for the patient.
• Support the clinic management team on operational activities such as scheduling and billing.
• Provide exceptional customer service and foster patient engagement through events and tours.
