Oak Street Health in Columbus, OH is seeking a Patient Relations Analyst to educate patients about Medicare programs, resources, and affordable coverage options to improve access to care and retention.

As the clinic insurance expert, you will guide patients through eligibility, assist with navigation of bills, and support providers with insurance questions, especially during Medicare Open Enrollment.

Formación

• Proficiency with Gmail, Word/Google Docs, and Excel.
• US work authorization required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients with navigating Medicare and insurance issues, including coverage and eligibility.
• Serve as an internal resource in the clinic on insurance questions for providers and staff.
• Help patients resolve medical bills inside and outside Oak Street Health and advocate for the patient.
• Gain the trust of patients to properly advise on healthcare coverage.
• Manage the welcome visit and orientation process for new patients.
• Educate patients on applying for public benefits and Extra Help for prescription drugs.
• Support clinic management on scheduling and billing as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and foster patient engagement.
