Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Patient Relations Analyst in Cincinnati to educate patients about Medicare programs and affordable insurance options, improving access to care and retention. You will act as the clinic’s insurance expert, guiding patients through coverage, benefits, and eligibility while supporting the care and outreach teams.

Daily duties include assisting patients with insurance questions, navigating the healthcare system, and helping resolve medical bills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Gmail, MS Word or Google Docs, Excel or similar tools.
• US work authorization required.
• Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with navigating Medicare and insurance issues, including coverage and eligibility.
• Serve as clinic resource on insurance questions for providers and staff.
• Help patients navigate the healthcare system and assist with medical bills within and outside Oak Street Health.
• Build trust with patients to advise on healthcare coverage.
• Manage welcome visits and orientation for new patients.
• Educate patients on public benefits and prescription drug assistance.
• Support clinic management with scheduling and billing tasks.
• Provide exceptional customer service and foster patient engagement.
