Job summary

You will be the clinic’s insurance expert and advocate for patients navigating Medicare, eligibility, and bills.

Daily duties include guiding patients, supporting care teams, and improving patient engagement through events and orientation. A strong customer service orientation is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Gmail, MS Word or Google Docs, Excel.
• US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with navigating Medicare and insurance issues including coverage, benefits, summaries, and eligibility.
• Serve as an internal resource in the clinic on insurance questions for providers and staff.
• Help patients navigate the healthcare system and resolve medical bills, advocating for the patient.
