Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Medical Technologist I to perform routine and specialized laboratory testing on blood and body fluids with minimal supervision.

You will support patient care by delivering accurate test results, troubleshooting instruments, and assisting in data collection for regulatory compliance. The role may involve teaching new staff and students and performing phlebotomy duties as needed, adhering to safety plans and quality control standards.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field is required.
• Passing score on CLT Proficiency exam approved by HHS (HEW) required.
• 0–2 years of acute care experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs moderate and high complexity tests with accurate reporting and documentation.
• Adheres to quality control procedures and analyzes data to resolve out-of-range results.
• Conducts instrument checks and preventative maintenance as per policies.
