Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• Passing score on CLT Proficiency exam (HEW) is required.
• 0-2 years acute care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate and high complexity tests accurately and efficiently with timely reporting.
• Adheres to quality control procedures and performs checks and corrective actions.
• Conducts instrument checks and preventative maintenance as required.
• Troubleshoots instrument malfunctions and notifies appropriate personnel.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and PPE usage.
• Communicates results and issues with healthcare staff.
• Assists with proficiency testing and data collection for regulatory compliance.
• Performs phlebotomy duties as needed and supports patient care.
• Maintains accurate records and conforms to laboratory policies.
