Job summary

The role includes possible teaching responsibilities, phlebotomy duties as needed, and collaboration with healthcare staff to ensure timely and accurate testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field required.
• Proficiency exam passed (HEW/AMT/AAB) preferred or required by certifying body.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high complexity tests accurately and report results.
• Adhere to quality control procedures and document data accordingly.
• Maintain instrument function checks and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot instrument malfunctions and coordinate with vendors if needed.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE as required.
• Assist in phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed.
• Support data collection for accreditation and regulatory compliance.
