• Performs moderate and high complexity tests accurately and efficiently with timely reporting.
• Adheres to quality control procedures and documentation.
• Conducts instrument function checks and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoots instrument malfunctions and notifies appropriate personnel.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and PPE usage.
• Communicates with staff about unusual results and QC issues.
• Assists with proficiency testing and data collection for accreditation.
• May perform phlebotomy and assist in teaching and training.
