Prime Healthcare Services in Leavenworth, KS is seeking a Medical/Surgical LPN for a full-time, day shift position. The role involves direct patient care, vitals, meds administration, wound care, discharge planning, and collaboration with RNs and physicians. 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Sign-on bonus of $10,000 is available for qualified candidates. Eligible applicants must hold a current state license, BLS, and IV certification, with benefits included.

• Current BLS certification at hire and maintain current.
• IV certification at hire (state-specific).

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care, including hygiene support, mobility assistance, and comfort measures.
• Monitor vital signs, document observations, and report changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications as prescribed and observe for reactions or side effects.
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and assist with procedures within the state LPN scope.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the care team to support individualized care plans.
• Assist with discharge planning and provide patient/family education on treatments and recovery.
• Follow infection control practices and maintain accurate patient records.
