Prime Healthcare Services is seeking a Behavioral Health LPN for Saint John Hospital in Leavenworth, KS. This part-time, 12-hour day shift (7:00 am–7:00 pm) involves providing hands-on nursing care in an inpatient behavioral health unit with a multidisciplinary team, focusing on safety, stabilization, and patient recovery.

The role emphasizes medication administration, patient monitoring, crisis intervention, and coordination of admissions/discharges, with full benefits available.

Formación

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Psychiatric Technician.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification at hire.
• IV certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with acute mental and behavioral health needs in an inpatient setting.
• Observe, monitor, and document patient behavior, mental status, and safety risks.
• Administer medications as ordered and monitor for side effects.
• Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation to promote unit safety.
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers, including patient education.
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Complete, accurate, and timely clinical documentation per policy and regulations.
