You will prepare patients, assist clinicians, perform testing and screening, and help with front desk duties while maintaining a high standard of patient care and HIPAA compliance.

The role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and accurate documentation in a busy occupational medicine setting with opportunities for ongoing training and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited MA program or 1 year of direct patient care.
• Six months or more MA experience; knowledge of medical terminology.
• State-specific occupational medicine knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for physical examinations including vital signs and ancillary testing.
• Perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, glucose, etc.).
• Assist providers during examination and treatment.
• Triage emergent patients and manage routine medical procedures as ordered.
