Job summary

Concentra, Inc. in Draper, Utah seeks a Medical Support Specialist to perform routine medical procedures under clinician supervision and support in registration and referral management. You will deliver efficient one-on-one patient care in a fast-paced setting, ensuring a quality experience with welcoming, respectful staff.

You will assist providers, prepare patients, capture vitals, manage tests, and handle front/back office tasks while maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Education: Vocational/Technical/Business School path or equivalent medical assistant program.
• Externship preferred; or at least 1 year direct patient care as MA or military medical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing as required.
• Prepare patients for physical exams, take vitals, and assist with ancillary testing.
• Conduct rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, glucose, etc.).
• Assist clinicians during examinations and treatments.
• Handle front/back office duties and maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain supplies, clean rooms, and operate medical devices per policy.
