Job summary

Concentra, Inc. is seeking a Medical Support Specialist in Draper, UT to join our patient care team. The MSS delivers routine medical procedures under clinician supervision and supports in registration and referral management to ensure top-notch patient experiences.

The role covers vital signs, testing, specimen collection, phlebotomy, and front/back office duties while maintaining HIPAA compliance and quality standards in a fast-paced center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with externship preferred, or at least 1 year of direct patient care as a medical assistant.
• Must meet state requirements and be able to obtain credentials as required by the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prep patients for physical exams including vital signs and ancillary testing.
• Perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, glucose, etc.).
• Assist clinicians during examinations and treatments.
• Provide front/back office support including charting and patient flow management.
