Job summary

Concentra, Inc. in US-Peoria seeks a Medical Assistant to join our patient care team. The MSS will perform routine medical procedures, assist clinicians, and ensure a positive patient experience in a fast-paced center.

The role supports front- and back-office tasks, registration, documentation, and adherence to HIPAA guidelines. It requires completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent experience, DOT testing, phlebotomy, and a patient-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent experience.
• Externship experience highly preferred or at least 1 year of direct patient care as MA.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine medical procedures under clinician supervision.
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments.
• Front and back office duties including patient check-in/out and documentation.
