Job summary

Phoenix Defense LLC seeks an Instructor Operator at Fort Bliss, TX to support the Army Medical Simulation Training Center. The role involves instructing a mixed Soldier population in EMT sustainment and CLS, using high-fidelity simulations and moulage to mirror real scenarios.

The I/O will assess critical thinking and psychomotor skills, work in classrooms or field environments, and maintain proficiency with training products and PMCS procedures.

Qualifications

• Current NREMT EMT certification and ability to teach EMT Sustainment and CLS courses.
• Hold/complete TC 8-800 instructor course with annual validation.
• BLS-HCP certification and readiness to travel for training.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance if required.
• Strong presentation and communication skills for varied student populations.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, demonstrate, and test Soldiers in EMT/68W Sustainment and CLS.
• Prepare classroom or field training using approved scenarios.
• Assess students' critical thinking and psychomotor skills in high-fidelity simulations.
• Maintain proficiency with company products and training materials.
• Handle equipment PMCS and inventory of consumables as needed.
• Collaborate with training unit for preparation and teardown.
