Oncology Consultants - Southwest is seeking a medical scribe to accompany the physician in the exam room and document each patient interaction in real time using the EHR.

This clerical role is not patient-facing care, but supports clinicians by accurately charting history, exams, diagnoses, and prescriptions while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all applicable federal and state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in healthcare field required.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Valid driver’s license for travel between clinics.

Responsibilities

• Accompany the physician in the exam room to document patient interactions.
• Real-time documentation in the EHR as dictated by the physician.
• Prepare and present the medical record for physician review.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with regulations.
