Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking an on-site Medical Scribe to document patient visits in real time, assisting doctors with history, exams, test results, and prescriptions. No experience required; comprehensive training is provided through our program.

You'll work with physicians across settings, use EHR systems, and ensure accurate charting while supporting the clinic's daily operations. Flexible shifts and career growth are offered to dedicated teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM and fluency in English are essential.
• Strong listening and communication skills are important for patient interaction.
• Flexible schedule availability to cover various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
