Responsibilities

• The primary duties are to accompany the physician into the exam room to document each patient’s interaction with the doctor.
• Scribes will use the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system in real time to document dictation from the physician.
• Scribes are clerical in nature and are not patient care providers.
