Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One or more years of medical experience preferred.
• One or more years of experience with insurance and managed-care contracts preferred.
• AHA CPR certification required; can be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule a variety of OR cases and procedures; Open Upright MRI, X-ray, CT, and infusion appointments.
• Manage multiple schedules and coordinate Inpatient Care Rooms for overnight patients.
• Answer phones and provide helpful, professional service to patients and team members.
• Create, document, and assign procedure codes for patients, physicians, and procedures.
• Communicate with multiple departments to make sure schedules are accurate and patient needs are coordinated.
• Keep information organized and up to date while balancing changing priorities.
