Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Complex Scheduler to coordinate appointments, imaging, labs, procedures, surgeries, and treatments across multiple locations. You will partner with providers, schedulers, and care teams to ensure timely, sequenced services and clear communication with patients and caregivers.

The role requires 2 years in a healthcare setting, 1 year scheduling experience, strong customer service, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a healthcare setting/practice.
• 1 year Completing scheduling and registration of appointments.
• 1 year Practicing good public relations, customer service, time management, prioritization, and patient communication skills.
• 1 year Proficient use of computer keyboarding and Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointments, procedures, labs, imaging, and treatments across locations.
• Serve as single point of contact for scheduling needs and updates.
• Navigate complex service protocols and provide patients/caregivers with accurate information.
• Maintain friendly, professional communication with patients, families, and care teams.
• Manage daily schedules for physicians across multiple sites and updates as needed.
• Review messages and ensure timely responses within standard timeframes.
• Support pre/post-appointment activities and ensure safety and reliability of processes.
