Our client is a well-established and growing medical practice focused on clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and delivering high-quality care. Our client is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$22/hr

Position Overview:

The Medical Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming experience while supporting front desk operations and administrative workflows.

Responsibilities of the Medical Receptionist:
  • Manage high-volume front desk operations in a fast-paced, multi-location medical practice.
  • Greet patients professionally and facilitate efficient check-in and check-out processes.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, addressing patient inquiries with exceptional customer service.
  • Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments across multiple office locations.
  • Verify insurance coverage, collect necessary patient information, and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare and organize patient charts, referrals, imaging, and other documentation prior to appointments.
  • Process payments, maintain financial records, and support daily administrative functions.
  • Monitor patient flow, coordinate with clinical staff, and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
Required Experience/Skills for the Medical Receptionist:
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to create a welcoming experience for patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other healthcare technology platforms.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail when managing patient information, scheduling, and administrative responsibilities.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining professionalism and delivering exceptional service.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between office locations as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities throughout the day.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to supporting office operations and contributing to a positive patient experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical receptionist, patient services representative, front desk coordinator, or similar healthcare administrative role required.
