Stony Brook Administrative Services is seeking a Medical Receptionist for a busy cardiology practice. You will be the first point of contact for patients, greet and register them, verify demographics and insurance in the EMR, and collect co-pays. You will also schedule appointments and maintain charts while upholding HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
The role requires knowledge of medical terminology, experience with medical insurance processes, and strong communication and multitasking abilities.
