AdventHealth Palm Coast is seeking a skilled Practice Operations Manager to oversee multiple physician clinics, ensuring cost-effective operations, staffing, and high-quality patient care. You will coordinate start-ups, credentialing, budgeting, and compliance across practices.

The role requires supervisory experience in a hospital or medical practice, knowledge of medical terminology, and strong MS Office and EHR skills to optimize patient care and revenue cycles.

Qualifications

• Skilled in customer service.
• Skilled in interpersonal, oral, and written communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Skilled in organization and multitasking.
• Ability to develop positive working relationships with stakeholders.
• Budget oversight and financial management experience.
• Knowledge of physician coding and billing, and related regulations.
• Experience with revenue cycle management.
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) superuser.
• Ability to manage staff and operations to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manages offices in a cost-effective, efficient manner to provide high quality care.
• Oversees startup of new physician practices and credentialing activities.
• Coordinates and improves operations of each practice, including staffing and training.
• Manages hiring processes, evaluations, and employee counseling per policy.
• Provides orientation for new employees and ensures policy compliance.
• Maintains job descriptions and conducts staff evaluations.
• Participates in budget preparation and adherence.
• Supervises staff schedules and department coverage.
• Reviews policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develops and implements policies governing practice operations.
• Evaluates program effectiveness and revenue cycle management.
