AdventHealth in Celebration, FL is seeking an experienced hospital operations manager to oversee multiple physician practices, drive startup activities, and manage staff performance. You will coordinate credentialing, budgeting, and patient-flow processes to ensure high-quality care in a courteous, efficient environment.

The role requires supervisory experience in a medical setting, strong knowledge of billing/coding, and proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology is required.
• Front office tasks and systems knowledge is required.
• Familiarity with organization policies and procedures is required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Manages offices in a cost-effective, efficient manner with high-quality care.
• Oversees start-up of new physician practices and credentialing activities.
• Coordinates operations, staffing, training and practice workflow.
• Coordinates hiring, performance evaluations, and staff counseling.
• Provides orientation and ensures policy compliance and engagement.
• Maintains staff descriptions and conducts competency evaluations.
• Participates in operating, salary and capital budgeting and ensures budget compliance.
• Supervises staff, schedules, and ensures department coverage.
• Reviews policies for regulatory compliance and updates procedures as needed.
• Oversees revenue cycle management and coding for clean claims.
